Master Stylist

Bob Giacolone is an Award-Winning specialist in hair color and hair cutting. He is nationally recognized as one of the best colors and haircut makeover artists in America. Bob is a past winner of the Armstrong McCall “60 Years of Beauty” contest and has performed his artistry at the World’s Fair of Cosmetic Arts and Sciences. Bob is also a past winner of the Goldwell “Own the Cover” contest, and was the only Arizona stylist recognized in their top 100 stylist book. In his 40+ years in the industry, Bob has worked and trained with the leaders in the Business. When not in the Salon, Bob can be found riding his horse in the desert.

Master Esthetician

Carmen graduated from the Aveda Institute in Provo and has a passion for skin. If you need a relaxing and rejuvenating treatment, stop in for one of her hour-long facials - you will leave with a new outlook on life. As an Aveda graduate, Carmen knows the ins and outs of Aveda skin products, and can give advice to address specific skin concerns for every skin type. 

Barber

Cruz is a third generation barber with a passion for making every man look his best. His grandfather opened up his first shop in 1962, and ever since he was a boy Cruz would watch his father cutting hair after school. Now that he is a professional himself, Cruz never feels like he’s at work, enjoying the atmosphere and the challenge created by being a barber. Cruz does all cuts - from razor fades to gentleman cuts - as well as full face shaves - including hot towel, beard clean ups and head shaves.

David comes to our team with a wide range of experience and over 35 years in the business. David instructed at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, teaching students all aspects of hairstyling. David also worked for an international hair color company, traveling extensively around the US teaching color classes and participating in fashion shows. David also worked with a Sassoon-educated hairstylist in Taipei, Taiwan and at a school in Hong Kong. He worked there for five years working between the school and Salon which catered to both the Chinese and the expatriate population. There he really developed his skills in precision cutting and geometric shapes.

Doreen brings more than 25 years experience in the hair industry, having worked in some of the trendiest hair salons in NYC and Bergen County New Jersey. She is passionate about staying up to date with the latest trends and industry best practices. Doreen is a master level stylist and colorist. It's important that every client leaves looking and feeling great.

Jamie has been a hair professional since 2008, working at the Paul Mitchell Salons for two years prior to joining Nu Image Salon & Day Spa here in Scottsdale, AZ in 2015. Jamie enjoys utilizing Aveda’s impressive array of creative color lines and has a particular talent for the “Reds”. She is also excellent with structured men’s cuts/grey blending, the “non-formaldehyde based” keratin straightening product Cezanne, highlighting, and children’s cuts.

With over 20 years of experience as a cosmetologist, Mallory brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to every haircut and style. Outside the salon, Mallory is a dedicated cheerleading coach, inspiring young athletes to reach their full potential. Her vibrant personality and positive energy make her a favorite among clients and students alike. Having honed her skills at Toni & Guy for six years, Mallory combines top-notch techniques with a friendly, approachable vibe. Whether you’re looking for a trendy new look or a classic cut, she’s here to help you feel your best.
